I am secondly so blessed by my family and friends, they really and truly are the best!

Marvelous Monday!

Every Sunday night I sit thinking on my bed the same thing -- Is tomorrow really Monday AGAIN!? I usually talk to one of my best friends, Bethany, on Sunday night and our conversations usually end with “hope you have a Marvelous Monday...” But in reality I know that Mondays are never marvelous.
I’m already dreading tomorrow morning. I know I won’t want to get out of my nice cozy bed, nor will I want to go to class. I know I will be sleepy all day, due to lack of sleep over the weekend and I have a feeling the day is going to drag. It’s always hard getting back to the grind of my daily routine, school, work, study. But tonight as I began to think and complain to myself, God brought to mind a few things:
--His mercies are new every morning (even on Mondays) and His compassions never fail -- Great is His faithfulness. This alone gives me reason to be glad, God is faithful, He never fails!!
--This is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it. God has given me this day, he has made it and ordained every single thing in it for his glory. I have the choice to rejoice and be glad in it, glad in Him, glad in His salvation, glad in His great plan for me and glad in His wonderful love and use those things he’s laid before me for his glory.
When I remember God’s faithfulness, mercy and unfailing compassions that are given to me a new every morning -- How can I do anything by rejoice and be glad in the day God has given me, even if it is a Monday.
On that note I hope you have a Marvelous Monday!

Relient K

The last weekend of the summer we drove up to Atlanta to meet up with some friends and spend the day at Six Flags. Not only did we get to spend the day at Six Flags with some of my favorite friends (you know who you are), but we also got to see one of my favorite bands -- Relient K, what more could I ask for!? I know it’s way late, but I just got around to getting some of the video that I took together.

Enjoy!
